If you’re switching, your store now carries two books: the old platform’s (every subscription sold before today) and yours (every subscription sold from today). This is a stable stage, not a countdown. The two don’t fight: Shopify lets each app pull the billing trigger only on the contracts it owns, so no contract answers to two apps and nobody gets double-charged. That is a Shopify permission rule, not a promise.
Two books also means two subscriber portals until you consolidate; that is the honest, temporary cost of this stage. Watch the old platform’s fee line shrink with its book, and when the math and your nerves agree, migrate the remainder. No deadline.

You are live for new orders

Somewhere ahead, a stranger subscribes. No ceremony. It lands exactly like your team’s orders did: three places, no drama, and at the next daily billing run the machine charges a contract you sold. That’s the whole event. The dev store proved the machine; today the machine started earning. Stuck anywhere along the way? Email support@opensubs.com with your store domain and the step you’re on. Next up: Migrate. When the old book’s remainder is ready to come over, the cards never move; we only change who pulls the trigger. The finish line looks just like today’s proof: the same daily billing run, charging a contract you moved.
